On Friday 22nd June we invited members of the commuinuty who have helped both our schools to join us for a special thank you lunch.

Furnace has a thriving community at which the school is at the heart.
The Viking project is in full swing at Furnace with creative art, design and construction, written works and lots of fun!
Furnace invited Minard to join them for some spooky fun and Games. In the morning PE was Ghostbuster themed with some cool moves by the Mummies, Ghosts , Skeletone and Zombies.
Today Andy Craven came to visit us at Minard school. The day was based broadly on a nature spotting boxes sheet carried and filled in by each pupil.
On the afternoon of 23 October we celebrated the success of one of our pupils, Chloe Taylor (P6), in a national competition.
On Friday 29th September Furnace teamed up with Minard Primary for a visit to the Glasgow Science Centre to consolidate the chemistry topic.
